Starting Fresh~!

Good Morning....

I have to say I am feeling amazing today! I had a great weekend with friends and family..and caught up on some much needed rest so now its time to blog.

Friday we went to dinner with a friend from High School that was in town and some close friends of ours. After dinner we headed back to our place to watch a comedy and share some laughs. I fell asleep putting Madelyne and Brittney fell asleep on my couch by 10 so....I don't feel too bad. Saturday mommy slept in Josh took Mati to the little gym! She had a blast and I got some much needed sleep. I am looking forward to going this weekend. That is for sure. Once they got back it was a quick change and then off to a birthday bash. After the birthday we headed off to a baby shower! Madelyne just loved entertaining after she warmed up. We dropped by my moms on the way home and let everyone get their dose of loving and headed home for a nap. Geez that makes me tired just thinking about it! After our nap....moo went to Walmart with her daddy and mommmy went to a "mommy" party with a girlfriend. We had a blast!

Sunday we decided to skip church ( I know, shame shame) and have family time instead. I made a big breakfast and we lounged in our pj's half the day. It was great. We didn't go anywhere. Madelyne played with her water table outside, we had naps (lovely), and then organized all the toys Mati got for her birthday. The kid is going to have to give somethings up before Christmas. Josh was in and out of doing school work all day, but it was so nice spending time together. We have been so busy with life; school, parties, being sick.....we just don't get the time to often to re-group and have some laughs. Josh says I have been way to serious lately and I really just need to let my hair down.

Funny things from this weekend with Madelyne:

She was sitting in the backseat with her hand closed, and I asked her what she had in her hand? She opens her hands with nothing inside and goes "uhhhhh fingers?"

She has been changing her babies diapers left and right and yesterday she would say " ohhh baby yuck....mommy she's got diareeerrraaaa.....lol..."

Last night she took all of our temperatures and gave us medicine.

Josh put together her pink tricycle and she was like "ohhh thank you Josh, I likey this"

Her new thing is "I'll be right back, okay?"

She talks to us like we are complete idiots sometimes. I swear its the funniest thing I have ever heard.

All about Noah:

He is growing great. I feel constant movement now and I am starting to get the bump...some days are good where you can't tell...some days....he is just out there! I will post a picture soon. In a week and a half we will be halfway down! Time Flies!

Here are a couple pictures from yesterday!

Playing with her water table. She would wet her slide, slide, and do it all over again.

Her first hot dog! After finishing her dinner she wanted to try ours. Josh grilled out and so we shared. She was so excited about it, you can see for yourself I am sure :)

2 Years Old!

Dear Madelyne,

My Mati moo....ohh how you have grown. You bring so much joy to my life. You really are my heart walking around outside of my body. It may seem silly, but I can't picture my life before you came along and I never want to picture you not in my life. My life began with you. Yes I love your daddy and he has a piece of my heart, but a mothers love is completely different.

Everyday you call for me from your big girl bed and "mommy" has to be the best name I have ever been called. You love to sing. It doesn't matter where we are at or what we are doing. Your daddy and I have been forced to sing "Barney Too", "ABC'S", "Itsy Bitsy Spider", and "Twinkle Star" in restaurants and various public places. You have become quite a little mama thanks to some coaching from mommy(preparing her role as a big sister). You can count to 10 extremely well and you are getting your colors down slowly. You love to read books and Blues Clues rules our TV time. You say your prayers every night, and you are the most sweet natured baby I have ever known. When I am sick or tired you make yourself cozy next so me and kiss all over my face. Then you ask, "Feel better mommy?"I love it. You are such a ray of sunshine and you make my cloudiest day bright. Your smile is contagious, and I pray the man upstairs knows how thankful we are just to hold you everyday.

You are going to be an excellent big sister. You give your brother kisses already, and you let me know he could sit next to you on the front porch. You know you are going to be a big sister and this is an everyday conversation. I just hope your world gets better when we add to it, and you never feel jealous.

You go to the Little Gym now and you love it. You are there every Saturday morning and you let your wild side come out.

Your birthday was a magical day for me. You were surrounded with people that love you, and you got everything your little heart could have desired and more. It was hilarious to watch you try to orchestrate ciaos at your party by yelling for all the kido's to run. You are just the cutest little piece of heaven.

Thank you for being my daughter. Thank you for making everyday better, that's quite a big burden for a such a little girl and you do an excellent job at it! I wish I could just freeze you so you could be my innocent little girl forever.

I love you forever and always,
Mommy
