To my little love

Dear Mati Moo,

I just wanted to tell you that I love you more than life itself. On Sunday you turned 18 months old, and I couldn't believe you are halfway to 2. WOW! The past 18 months have been the best months of my entire life. You are such a sweet baby, and you love to show affection. You like to color and draw on things, you are in love with Elmo, and you are the pickiest eater ever ( this is probably my fault). Your daddy and I can't believe how much you love your Elmo right now. The only thing you have been attached to since birth was your binky, which I hate to break it you...that will soon be making its departure. :) You carry your new friend around everywhere and lately he needs to ride to school with you and he also needs to sleep with you as well. You really like the Wiggles and I often find myself singing their tunes at work. We have a routine that you follow everyday. I think they are important and I know you enjoy it so...that's what we do. After school everyday we swing by maw maw and paw paw's and say hello...they expect to see you everyday and if mommy has school they make sure to come by just to say hi. They adore you. You play and they feed you things that ruin your dinner.. :) and then its off to the house to wait for daddy or as you call him Josh. We get dinner going and get on the couch and watch our daily dose of the Wiggles....after dinner its bathtime...playtime...book time...whatever you want...you run the house :) You love your slide from your grandma, its your new thing. Weekends are spent learning new things or helping mommy clean. We stay pretty busy, and when you can hang outside with your daddy for a bit you are in heaven. He does everything for you. Last night when I got home from school you were asleep and your daddy was looking at old pictures from when you were tiny tiny. He loves being your daddy. Just don't be silly and decide you want to get married at 12....lol...it will break his heart. Although you look a lot like your daddy you take after your mommy quite a bit in the personality department. Your love for shoes is adorable and if I would let you, you would try on all your shoes daily. You love to dance, but what girl doesn't? You also love to make people laugh. You wore your sunglasses in church for 5 minutes on Sunday just to get people to look at you. You are such a ham.Last but not least I want you to know something pretty important. Mommy and daddy are both in school right now and we both work and sometimes life seems really busy. I just want you to know that you are never on the back burner...you always come first to both of us. I would rather spend my nights with you and stay up until dawn studying just to do it all over again. We work to provide you with everything. You love daycare and you friends and I think it has helped you have amazing social skills. You are a little social butterfly. You love people.Everything we do is for you, for a good future, for a good life....we love you unconditionally. I don't think I knew what that meant until I knew you. <3

Love,
Mommy

WIC

After much thought..I have decided that the WIC office across the street is going to see me today!!!! I am so tired of people milking the system...This is for people that are single moms...people struggling to get on their feet ...not you Mr. new Lexus...waiting on you wife to cash in on my tax money !!!!!! If you had a baby and can't afford it.(obviously you can)...find a JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!

Done venting!

Why don't people understand this is more of a place for temporary help!

It's been way too long....

Well I am sure you have been wondering...Where have we been, right? Well we have been pretty busy..we are exhausted and just waiting for spring break...

School has been going excellent so far.. I have been maintaining A's and I am really proud of myself....can't you tell? I feel like my going back to school has also put added stress on Josh. He is doing his first year all over again.... he is proof reading....teaching me things I should remember from high school and just being unbelievably supportive. Thank you honey!

Home life is also kind of hectic right now...we are about to start building a patio out back....well not "we"..but I will just get to decorate it, pick out the furniture and decide on the plants... and that excites me!

Our weekends are spent juggling Mati moo, homework, housework, and a little "us"time...ohh the joys. I am starting to adjust and I am getting in the swing of things. The reason I haven't posted lately is because I have been kinda MIA on my myself. I fell of the band wagon about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I am still trying to make myself get back up. With added stress of school...I quit going to the gym...quit tanning...quit this blog...I really stopped doing alot of the things that I enjoyed..... My body ached and I felt as if something were wrong with me. The other night I had a "come to Jesus meeting" with myself. I am going to push myself back into those things until I get back into my routine. I have also been eating like crap...not sleeping very well so I am hoping that with a little push I can get over this hump...."fake it until you make it", right?

Valentines Day was a lot of fun....like it always is in the Kozel House...or shall I say LOVE DAY! It was more like love weekend... we both took off on Friday and sent Mati moo to daycare..We headed to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and then off to watch Valentine's Day...I don't recommend spending your money to watch it...wait until it comes out on video...better yet...then wait until next Vday...I can't imagine it working for any other weekend. We picked Mati moo up and headed to the Galleria...I am starting to stock up in Spring/ Summer clothes....then we went to dinner with my parents...after dinner we went and bought Josh a new suit. He needed one for a Gala that we are attending tomorrow night. All of his old suits are way to big...I must say he looks smoking in his new duds... Saturday we cleaned house...did laundry and picked up our groceries... I had a 4 page paper due this weekend so after spending 6 hours on that...we crashed.. On actual valentines day we did our tradition pink heart pancakes...enjoyed each others company...we both had a little school work...so...we ordered our heart shaped pizza for dinner....it is soo cute and watched "The Time Travelers Wife".....ohh it was awesome...they left a lot out from the book, but I still cried like a little girl!

My work week started way early...3 am on Monday.... I was off to Dallas for a day of learning...I had a great time...BTW I missed seeing you Dee...maybe when you are here for the Rodeo. After a long day ..my 2 loves picked me up at the airport and I was out like a light by 830...So needless to say this week has sucked!!! :) School nights are over for the week and after my quiz tonight..I am taking at least a 12 hour breather from school!

Now on to what you really want to hear:

Mati has been learning sooo much....The teachers are amazed at her large vocabulary...They said she does excellent on her flashcards...She knows some of the noises animals make.. Her new thing is Elmo. I have been trying to teach her how to count...we move things from container to container....she will say 2....and 6 mainly 6 for everything... We practice our alphabet...she does really well and can pronounce all of her letters correctly. The told me last week that Mati is a dancer....of course I already knew this, she loves to dance just like her mama....Mati has also been walking around the house moving her hands saying round and round....I had no idea what she was talking about, but my mom figured it out last night....the wheels on the bus go round and round.....lol...sho does the whole thing...Its so cute to watch her do the "babies on the bus go wahhhh" she is hilarious. She is such a loving baby....when I had been gone all day on Monday I didn't get to see her so on Tuesday morning I felt 2 little arms around my neck when I woke up and her head was above mine on my pillow....she was snuggling her mommy.... man oh man I love this little girl with my whole heart....

ok ok I must get to work, BUT I am promising a big picture post by tomorrow..check back and hod me to it....

I'll leave you with this....a professor one said "Thursday is the greatest day of the week because the anticipation of Friday is better than the actual day"....

Adios!
