Week/weekend happenings...

Well what a busy week we have had and after this weekend we are going to be knocked up into overdrive until finals...I am scared and excited all at the same time!

Mati has been doing great! Her vocabulary has expanded to words I haven't expected to hear yet. It really amazes me how much that little mouth can talk. Its almost been a week with no binky and she still kind of ask for it from time to time. I have noticed that when I say the binky is all gone, I am asked almost in the same sentence for her "cuppy".... I think she is replacing the binky with her cuppy, and that's okay. Wednesday when I picked up Mati from the daycare I noticed an ambulance outside the building where Mati is kept. In a hurried walk I finally reached her classroom. I noticed the teacher was gone, but I didn't think anything of it. I was holding my baby, and that's all that mattered at that moment. After asking some questions my heart broke when I found out that one of the little girls in Mati's class was actually seizing in the ambulance and they couldn't get her to stop. During diaper change the little girl began seizing on the ground, the teachers cut her clothes off and laid her on her side to try and get them to stop. Nothing worked, she started seizing at 4:05 and continued until late that night. Typically when you have a seizure your brain doesn't get in oxygen and if the persist for a long period of time, brain damage is common. Thankfully she was released from ICU the next day and she had zero brain damage! Thank you Jesus! Poor Mati, the kids were all in the room and I asked Mati if she was okay. She told me yes and then asked me if I was okay. She can always make me smile. Other than that we have a little tease on our hands....she will act as if you are about to get a kiss and run away laughing...lol. She also got her first pair of puma tennis shoes. I am so anti-tennis shoe, but Josh insisted and I am glad she got them. She loves them and is constantly showing me her new shoes...lol.. She also loves everything..she loves her books, Baxter, cookies, mommy, Josh. It's hilarious!

This week is going to be a major clean out...wipe down weekend. I want alot done, so we will see what I get accomplished! This hands can do wonders...lol..

Unfortunately Josh's mom was taken to the Emergency room yesterday afternoon. She is having a hard time controlling her muscles from her waist down. We are hoping this might be a side effect from her medication, but the doctors are worried that a compressed tumor is on these nerves...effected her equilibrium. So please keep her in your prayers.

Prayer

I would like to ask each and every person that stumbles across my blog to say a prayer for my mother-in-law. Josh's mom was diagnosed recently with stage 4 cancer. For those of you that don't know me..I am a person with a great deal of faith. I have seen miracles happen, and I am a firm believer in the power of prayer. When Mati is sick I always take her to the alter at church to be prayed for because I believe in a greater physician. Susan, I know you read this blog from time to time and I am sorry for putting it all out there. I personally feel that the more prayers we have going up, the greater the outcome. I hope you forgive me.

If you know us and you see my husband....be extra nice...his heart is heavy.

Thank you in advance..

I love Paw-Paw~

This morning on our way to daycare:

Mati: Mommy , binky?

Me: Mati your binky is all gone. Binkies are for babies and you are a big girl!

Mati: I love binky...

Me: I know, but you don't need one anymore they are for babies.

Mati: I love baby.

Me: You love your baby?

Mati: Yeah

Mati: I love puppy.

Me: Oh, is baxter your puppy?

Mati: Yeah

Mati: I love maw-maw and paw-paw.

Me: You love maw-maw and paw-paw?

Mati: Yeah...I love paw-paw. I love paw-paw. I love paw-paw. (It was like correction, I love paw-paw)

I always knew God had a sense of humor

So this morning was a hum dinger..BUT....God knew just how to make me laugh and boy I needed it~ so Thank You Jesus!
Let me set my story up first:

Mati moo has been sick...after a night of hitting her head and practically ripping her ear off I took her to the Dr. yesterday. She has an ear infection in both ears....poor baby and a bunch of sinus junk! so...I haven't been getting enough sleep (ohh the joys of mommyhood) so this morning back to work and daycare...she looked adorable...bad mood but adorable....10 minutes before we walk out the door....she vomited everywhere.....it was on her shoes and she kept saying eeewwww! I was trying not to laugh and cry at the same time...so after pulling it together and dropping her off I needed an escape......MCDONALDS~~~

I pull up excited about my coke and sausage biscuit...she asks me what I want and no lie....I shouted out "Thank you for calling Winn Meat Co., This is Ka............" It was like I left my body and returned to what the heck are you saying....when I got to the window she looked at me like I was from another planet I explained I was on my phone and I was sorry that I yelled but they couldn't hear me.....the look on her face said she didn't believe me.....

When I left I was laughing so hard I almost pee'd my pants! Thank you, Thank you...thats all I have to say!!!

I already wrote a post about Easter I just need to add my pics~

Hope you enjoyed and had a laugh too!
