Well I have decided to learn a new skill. I really want to learn how to COOK! I want Josh to be able to say, yeah my wife works ...goes to school..has babies...and man can she cook! This has always been a skill that I have lacked. My mom always cooked growing up and when she didn't my older sisters did. I was never forced in the kitchen to help make dinner. EVER!
So with all that said, I am really focusing my extra time on cooking. I have been cruising the Paula Dean website and other various recipe blogs. I also have been calling my mom for some of my favorite dinners she use to cook growing up. Josh and I have school 1 night a week on separate nights. I am determined to make dinner those 3 other nights a week and then maybe grill 1 night on the weekend. This is my goal...not a promise. I have patiently been waiting until the beginning of the month so I can splurge on some grocery shopping. My problem is I love to fry things. I went and picked up squash and okra yesterday...and can't wait to fry them. Poor Josh..he is going to have to commit himself to the gym if he wants to stay slim. hehehe..
Other than that school will be in full swing after tonight. My 2 online classes seem simple..its my math class that I am scared of....uhhhh....Lord help me! I always did really well in Math, the only issue is after 9th grade I completely cheated in the class. So I am not re-learning anything...I am learning it for the first time..lol.....If I could only write a letter to me at 16. It would say study hard.....don't bother with boys..keep your head in the books and out of the drama!
One of my first successful dinners was on Monday....stuffed chicken...bacon wrapped and ohh soo yummy....Josh adjusted his pants and told me to add this to my list of things I can cook. Can I get an amen? lol..
Doesn't it look delicious? 25 minutes prep...40 minutes in the oven...so easy! If you want the recipe let me know...I am not going to post it, this isn't a cooking blog sorry!
And I thought I would end with a picture of Madelyne. She loves getting into her mommy's make-up. While cleaning my room I noticed I hadn't heard her for a few minutes..anyone with children knows this can mean trouble....I walk into the bathroom to find her ducked down applying mommy's eyeshadow as blush.....if you look closely you can see her dark cheeks! Gotta love little girls, or at least mine anyways~

It's been a while since I've visited your blog (mainly because it had been a while since I had been to my own blog, lol!) Seems I've missed another opportunity for congratulations - so congratulations! You have a beautiful family already and I'm sure the new little one will be a delightful addition!
