What a busy month this has been!!!! whew! Just thinking about it makes me tired!
Josh and a few extra hands built an awesome deck in the backyard. I got to plant dozens of pretty flowers and pick out some lawn furniture! That consumed our weekends to the max and it wasn't fun BUT now that it is over I get to enjoy a nice deck...now if I could only get Mr. Kozel to buy me a hammock I would be in heaven.....
Midterms came and went and I am still maintaining my A averages!! yeah!!! BUT I am tired and I feel like everyday I am pushing myself to get through it verses enjoying it. :( but I think that comes with time, and everyone has to pay their dues right?
2 Weeks ago I got to celebrate 3 years of being married to a wonderful man, and 5 years of togetherness. I have always hated how you have to start over when you get married. I dated a lot when I was younger and was very fickle so to have actually found a guy I want to see everyday was ground breaking for me...Here is a quick rundown.... We have known each other since 8th grade BUT we never really liked each other and to be completely honest I hated the kid.... He was this chubster sitting behind me singing " I'm Blue da ba dee da be di" not to mention his constantly flattery on HIMSELF!!! hehehehe Throughout highschool Josh hung with the partying crowd...and was very cocky and arrogant...(sound familiar?) I actually didn't like people even talking about him in my presence...he thinks I had some secret crush but honestly I was intimidated...moving on.....highschool came and went and so did lots of boys...until Josh comes walking in Radioshack....(yes I worked here and I can be quite handy with cables and such :) ) He stayed 3 hours......really 3 hours....trying to activate a stolen cell phone for his buddy! hmm tsk tsk...he gave me his number and I acted like I threw it away...he showed up the next day...I heard through the grape vine he made the comment "I kept him on his toes"...I called and the rest is history......He is the best man for me and there aren't many like him out there if any! Within 7 months we were engaged and I have been head over heels since! When you know ....you know...I would have taken a cracker jacks ring...bc in the end it doesn't matter! I love you H.B. you rock my world :).. I will post pics later....
Mati is doing excellent...I am starting to discipline her a little more...she has been throwing fits...but other than that all is well with little miss priss. I don't know what we did for entertainment before we had a kido...she makes me laugh constantly... Lately when she accidentally kicks me ....punches me in the face and I say "ouch" her lips instantly pucker and she wants to give me a kiss... she is also in the phase where kissing makes anything better. She is still obsessed with "the wheels on the bus" and I noticed she is starting to sing to herself...Nothing that I can understand but lots of humming..I think it is adorable. A couple weeks ago I picked her up from the Daycare and when we left I noticed a scratch on her elbow where she obviously had fell down. I asked her if it hurt? or did she cry? She answered yes to both and held the wrong elbow saying "hurt" milking it.... so I told her she was holding the wrong elbow and she quickly switched over caressing the correct one! Last week Josh and I took her to the park to play...she loves the slides I was really surprised she would go down the tunnel one! Daddy is still Josh for now...but I think I am starting to hear a little daddy now and then...she has also adapted this new language...she literally sounds like a turkey gobbling and if you say something to her like this she answers you like you are having a conversation...super weird and we have no idea where she picked it up...
I am pushing myself back into my routine of working out and tanning, Josh is a great support system for that..lol... :) One thing I have to learn this year is to have an actual real perception of time....Rome wasn't built in a day!
I hope everyone has had a great week...I am so sore it hurts to cross my legs! ohh well back in the daily grind...
